Q1: I have installed Milesight DeviceHub. When I tried to login the system for first time with Gmail I got "Authentication fail error"! Could you please let me know what is the issue here?


Answer: You can refer to this article Use Gmail as Admin Mail in DeviceHub to solve the issue.


 


Q2: The DeviceHub appears to generate a lot of logs, maybe 150MB per day. Is there a way to reduce the logging level or of pruning logs?


Answer: You can increase the "Reporting Interval" on "Network Configuration" of DeviceHub to reduce status update to DeviceHub and reduce logs.


 


Q3: I have a LoRaWAN temperature and humidity sensor from other manufacturer and I want to connect it to the Milesight IoT Cloud. Could you please let me know how can I connect it.


Answer: Milesight IoT cloud only allows the connection of Milesight LoRaWAN products. Regarding the temperature and humidity measurement, it's recommended to use our EM300-TH sensor and our UG6x gateways supporting Milesight IoT Cloud management.


 


Q4: I am worry about the security issue of the DeviceHub given to the information is deemed confidential.


Answer: The DeviceHub can be deployed locally, please download here.


 


Q5: Can I deploy the Milesight IOT cloud on premise?


Answer: No, we do not provide on-premises version.
