Description
For LoRa products, the frequency will be divided into different channels at a certain interval according to LoRaWAN Regional Parameters, and the function of channel mask is to open the designated channel and allow LoRa devices to communicate at a fixed frequency to ensure normal communication.
This article will guide you how to configure channel mask in Milesight gateway.
Requirement
Milesight LoRaWAN Gateway UG6x with firmware version 60.0.0.36-13 and below or UG8x.
Configuration
Go to Network Server-> General -> Channel Plan Setting. You can choose different channel plan in drop-down box and configure the channel mask to limit the frequency channels of LoRaWAN devices when gateway works as network server.
Channel mask is represented by hexadecimal. Each bit is equivalent to a channel, 0 means that the channel is closed, 1 means that the channel is enabled. Take AU915 as example, if you need to open channel 8 to 15(916.8-918.2MHz), the second byte should be FF and the total channel mask is 00 00 00 00 00 00 00 FF 00.
