Introduction

VS121 sensor supports counting the number of people within or without the drawing regions, then upload the count value according to the reporting interval. Please ensure your sensor firmware version is lastest before testing.

Recommanded Height

For region people counting feature, the recommended height is more than 2.5 m for sittiing objects. Besides, please refer to below detection ranges in different heights:

Illuminance Requirement

There is no requirement for illuminance, but we recommend turning on Wide Dynamic Range (WDR) function, which will make the image effect better.

Note: it's suggested to select the recognition scheme based on your detection environment.

Algorithm 1: Suitable for monitoring complex environments which have many objects, like office supplies (books, printers, lamps, etc.)

Algorithm 2: Suitable for monitoring simple and clean environments like meeting rooms.
